It's only been completed since September and only driven over the curbs at work since then..........and it does need more for some sort of limited slip or diff locker, the extra heavy oil isn't heavy enough....guess I need tk look for Silly Putty sometime soon.

A seller on Ebay, bought a pair of speaker stands from them going on three years ago, well las week , a piece broke on one of them, now this piece is very important, the legs attach to it , anyways, contacted the manufacture, did a search, but had no luck, so I contacted the seller, after a few exchanges, they are going to send me the new part, they asked that I cover the shipping, I am pretty sure at this point, they are under no obligation to help me, so very nice of them to do so.

what pleased me today? Finding out that I'm done for the year! I don't have to drive back to the office until January 5th. Yea, I will do some work from home, but I'll be getting some rest and some model work done.

Planning on it! Yea, I've been working pretty intense on the Volare Messenger Car and have been enjoying that project. I'm hoping to get that finished soon, then I have a few ideas for the Amnesty Project! Then again if I work slow, the Volare could be the Amnesty Project!

I have so much to be thankful for today. I really do, here are a few:

I volunteered to help at a food pantry today. It is a reminder that life is hard for some folks. Money isn't growing on trees at my house, but I am thankful for the full pantry we have, comprised of stuff I want to eat.

I also did something nice for someone today, and less than two hours later, I was blessed to have found an item for $45 that could easily bring $450 on ebay.

good for you Tom, I am off till the 5th starting @ 10:30 today. in a way, it just seems wrong to be off so long. but the "use um or loose um" thing on vacation/personal days make it a skeleton crew here around the holidays.

Al, use that found time to work on models! You can join in my Holiday Model Car Amnesty Build, where we challenge folks to complete an old unfinished project during the time we have off over the holidays!

Had my 200 in for what turned out to be a minor repair (wiring from the body to the active headrests went bad, throwing the airbag light) and got a call this morning to say it was ready as I got to work. Instead of having to rush over to pick it up after work but before they closed (logistically difficult, even though the two aren't too far apart), leaving the Jeep there to take that home, then Dad and returning in his van for the Jeep, Dad and my sister's BF went to get it and it's already home!

Model Car Club of Minnesota meeting last. Another fun one. Theme was Wagons, Ranchereos, El Caminos, and Utes. A great turn out. Most following the theme, but not all. I personally brought a '65 Chevelle wagon, a matching '65 El Camino, a Long John dragster, and a War of the Worlds diorama. Most people bring only car or trucks. But, I like to slip in a SciFi model from time to time. And they're nice enough to let me.
