I guess you guys have read my posts about the music streaming service I used all this time....... Well, I've found a new service! It's called TIDAL.com. It has pretty much every album you could imagine, even things that were missing from Napster. The great thing is it's the same price that I was paying for the former site! I started my 30 day free trial yesterday, so far it's great.........

Got the A1C down from 8.3 to 6.6 in six months!  Down 30 pounds as well.

Found a couple bags of white chocolate (w/ Fruity Pebbles) in the cabinet...passed them all out for Halloween.  That hurt.....

I finally got an appointment for a haircut with my barber for Saturday morning because he was on vacay for two weeks. He's busy as a beaver with his shop so he prefers appointments.

Having a perfectly clear sky to be able to witness the super moon this evening............

We had cloud covered view for the better half of that night, but later on when the wind finally blew the majority of the clouds out she was big and bright.

This has been on my mind from day one of the first death of 3 of our  pets over the course of a two plus year period that I lived with and cared for my dad. I had them in cold storage waiting for this moment.

I'm pleased that I had finally got the chance to lay all 3 to rest with a proper burial in a designated area. Zoey (Chihuahua), Kiwi (Lovebird) and Fauna (hedgehog) are missed but our fond memories together are forever embedded and they will never be forgotten. 🙏🏻

That's an awesome view! The light dancing through the clouds makes it a bit more interesting I think.........

Finally got my haircut and I feel like a million bucks. I walked into my barber's shop looking like Larry and walked out looking like Curly. NYUK! NYCK!

Exceptional fall colors this year. Pretty spectacular some places, best reds and purples I can remember, and it's not peaked yet.

Think I need a hike with a camera tomorrow.

Rained overnight, but the sun's coming out now. More rain forecast in the early evening, so I gots to get some things done.

Adios.

The girl who has been cutting my hair for 30 some years always bugs me to make a 6 week scheduled hair appointment each time I go. I usually wait for months on end until my hair starts to do it's own thing and I start to look like shaggy.

I survived the Election week.

I'm an Elections Worker for my County's Elections Division.

I work the Phone bank, taking calls from Voters, and placing calls to Voters to give information missing or Non-matching signatures. I get to talk to a whole lot of people.

After Tuesday, I was switched to working in the VBM (Vote by Mail) section, Opening Ballots, Checking Signatures, and Counting Ballots for manual backups.

I worked about 53 Hours this week, 18.5 of them on Tuesday. I will work three or four days next week, and then it will be over until May of 2026.

Should have been an irk, one of my tractors would not shut off. Easy fix with zero dollars spent ,so that's a plus. All set to push snow this winter with hopefully no headaches. But I really am starting to dislike small woodland creatures.

Yeah, I've had far fewer rodent issues since I started feeding the neighborhood feral cats enough to keep them around.

Stavanzer, thank you for stepping up for election work! I hope it was un-eventful.

It was. But Turnout was high due to the interest in Proposition 50, the California Redistricting Plan.

Every Voter I spoke with was determined to make their vote Count. We may end up with a 26% Voter Turnout, an especially high number for an off year election.

I won't say much more due to board rules about politics.

With 97% of the people I know complaining about "political things on both sides", a 26% turnout is pitiful. I haven't hear what the turnout was up here in The Kapital Kounty, but I think it was higher than that.
