Calb56 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago So far the day has been boring at work, no drama like yesterday but the day is young... 5

papajohn97 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Here's what pleased me today (actually over the last few days): 1. My best friend Joe generously gifted me a Kyosho Mini-Z Ready to race RC Porsche 962 with controller: OMG this thing is FUN!!!! We raced on a foam race track at the hobby shop where we bought our cars. It was like slot racing without the slots. These things really scream! 2. Ok, I knew it wouldn't take long for me to put the first ding into my beautiful new 1/27 scale Porsche 962 but little did I know it wouldn't be due to my driving. Today I decided to practice some driving on our back patio. Our six year old beagle "Huntley" was hanging out in the yard at the same time and when he saw the RC car take off, he did what any good hunting beagle would do and took off chasing that "rabbit"! Like a good hunting dog, he caught it and managed to put the first small dents into one rear wheel and the body of my new Porsche (although like a good hunting dog he didn't squeeze his jaws hard and totally crush that "bird"!). Now I can really start enjoying my new toy and no longer worry about the first dents! Dents/ defects vent evil spirits, right? Besides, now when I look at those dents, I'll think of two of my very best friends, Joe & Huntley! 3 1

Unfortunately, I'm "only" light rail and if I recorded while operating I'd be fired... but the wild stuff going on, especially operating on the street ( yes, we're the only light rail in the US that has area similar to streetcar, unprotected) would be something else.
stavanzer Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago She is worth watching. Both the Livestream, and the Videos. Some amazing Snow videos.

iamsuperdan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Took the truck to Penticton, BC for a few days. Did some business, then met up with a friend and did a few trails. They hang glide from this spot. Then we ventured up to the caves of the old gold mines in the area. Took it offroad, then came into town, loaded 5 people into into and went to the Serendipity Winery for a fancy dinner. 7

Dents/ defects vent evil spirits, right? Yeah, it was always easier to push the guys to hammer the real race cars after they were "blooded", so to speak. I'm going to have to remember that about the evil spirits too. Could be why my beaters all seem to be pretty much indestructible, but every time I make something pretty, it becomes a prima donna. 2
