DeeCee
Played around with a few paint ideas on this one, and added a set of Pegasus DZ's to set it off. Paint is automotive acrylic.

MikeBoyle
Not a big fan of lowriders, but I do appreciate the time and work put into replicating them and that is one nice, clean pickup. Excellent job on the paint work.
DeeCee
Very cool. Did you do the Saran Wrap on wet paint to get that effect? Yes Jim, good ol' plastic sandwich wrap, really east to do, and such a different effect, the hard bit is ALL the masking required. THANKS GUYS. Modlbldr
Very beautiful paint job. I love it. Can you describe the sandwich bag effect? Did you wad it up and pat the surface of the wet paint with it or did you lay it over the wet paint and then pull it up? Later-
DeeCee
Very beautiful paint job. I love it. Can you describe the sandwich bag effect? Did you wad it up and pat the surface of the wet paint with it or did you lay it over the wet paint and then pull it up? Later- Thank you men, Tom, i scrunch it up and dab it on the wet paint , usually only once, otherwise it starts getting messy, as i use Automotive Acrylics, they dry very quickly, so just got to be ready to go as soon as the paint is out of the Air brush. A quick practice will give you a good idea of how quick you need to be, depending on which paint you use yourself.
Modlbldr
Great. Thanks for the info. That is what I had in mind. I have been slowly working on a 41 Chevy pickup in a very similar style and paint job so the info is a great help. Later-
