Here's the song I'm listening to right now...

The problem was
She had a little black book
And my name was written on every page
Well a girl's got to make ends meet
...
I was out of place and time
And over the hill
And out of my mind

Didn't see anyone else answer...  that's Jubilee Street - Nick Cave

So I hired a plane to take me to a place so far away from you,

Eventually we began to see that we could be completely free.........

This one is a song by Cake, it's called "Wheels"...........

Somebody's knocking at the door, somebody's ringing a bell,

Do me a favor, open the door............

This one should be pretty easy!    :)

OK.  This one won't be easy for a lot of you.

        Life
	Coast to coast
	White hot as a ghost
	When you live
	In a countdown

	Time
	Is free as a jailbird
At least that's what I heard
	When you live
	In a hideout

	Love
	Comes cheap at a swapmeet
It all comes so dirt cheap
	When you live
	In a bedroom

	Love
	Cuts deep as a razor
	But that ain't amazin'
	When you live
	In a cancer

	Ah-ah-ah
	Ah-ah-ah
	Ah-ah-ah
	Ah-ah-ah
	Ah

	Mind
	Gets scrambled like eggs
	Get bruised and erased
	When you live
	In a brainstorm

	Noise
	Seems logically right
	Ringing ears in the night
	When you live
	In an airport

( This is actually a pretty peaceful song , considering who sing's it.)

Oh, the song is Hard Hearted Alice. :)

Try this one. I'm teaching my boy to play this on the drums. WHich is amusing, as I don;t play drums, but I can accompany on guitar.

Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel
Is just a freight train coming your way

:)

You have already given yourself a clue for this one.

Walkin' tall machine gun men.

They spit on me in my home land.

Gloria sent me pictures of my boy.

Got my pills 'gainst mosquito death.

My buddy's breathing his dyin' breath.

Oh God please won't you help me make it through.

Rooster - Alice in chains

I'm a walking nightmare, an arsenal of doom
I kill conversation as I walk into the room
I'm a three line whip
I'm the sort of thing they ban
I'm a walking disaster

I was wondering if this thread was still going...

You're keeping in step, in the line, got your chin held high and you feel just fine,

'cause you do as you're told, but inside your heart is black, and it's hollow, and it's cold.........

The song was written by band member Jerry Cantrell for his father, Jerry Cantrell senior.

His nickname was "Rooster" and he fought in Vietnam, which is what the song is about.

I don't have any idea, but it sounds very Pink Floyd-ish. ^_^

"Floating down, through the clouds.

Memories come rushing up to meet me now.

But in the space between the heavens and the corner of some foreign field.

I had a dream."

Cool thanks, you answered my question on the title of the song, and what it meant.I knew it was someone’s nickname, but now I know who it is.

I went down to the beach and saw Kiki, she was all like 'ewhhhh' and I'm like whatever!

Then this chick comes up to me and she's all like 'Hey, aren't you that dude' and I'm like yeah, whatever!
