crazyjim Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Here's my latest completion - a custom '58 Edsel in HOK snowhite pearl with cobalt blue kandy fogging. Besides lowering, lakes pipes, tunneled headlights/taillights, and rolled pans, we have your Fatkidd style distributor and fuel filter.
Brianl Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Wow! You have made an Edsel look good! Colour realy works with the wheels & pipes setting it off nicely Can we see a pic of the nose too? Good looking model mate. Brian
peekay Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 That's one kool kustom! Love the rolled pans and the frosted blue.
crazyjim Posted August 29, 2014 Author Posted August 29, 2014 Thank you Brian and Peter. Oops. I guess I pasted an engine pic twice. Here's the front.
Albert Moore Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Oh man, that is gorgeous, Jim! Lovin' the Vietnam ribbon license plate as well. Cheers, Albert

Mackvision Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Beautiful color combination, never been a big "fan" of Edsels, but I sure like this one!..........................Mark
DeeCee Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I love these Edsels , they are so ugly they are awesome. You have done a great job on this one Jim, the color looks right on it too, BEAUTIFUL!!
Lunajammer Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 You may have outdone yourself Jim. Quite snazzy. Might be one of my favorites of yours.
W-409 Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 That's very good looking Edsel! I like the paint job, those blue fades fit perfectly on the body shapes. Also the modifications you did look very good and nicely done. Good looking engine detailing finishes it off! I think Edsels are very good looking cars, much better than Fords from 1958. I'm glad to see well built models of them.
bbowser Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Great paint, love the panels. Who knew de-chroming would look this good!
