Ace-Garageguy Posted September 17, 2014 Share Posted September 17, 2014 (edited) One of the Howmet turbine cars, obviously, and a Lola Mk6 GT, the immediate forerunner to the Ford GT40. But I think your orange Merc C-111 up there is one of the most beautiful prototypes ever built. Powerful, purposeful and clean, the lines are just as strong today as they were in 1969. For that I'm prepared to forgive it. While on the subject, note the tail lamps of the majority of GT40s. Note a certain similarity to the tail lamps of a distinctive rear engine, air cooled, GM product?
