yura1961 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hallo All! I would like to show you,my build 1960 FORD Starliner(AMT kit). It's out of the box, hope you like it. Thanks for looking!
Harry P. Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Looks just about perfect to me! One of the nicest, cleanest, most realistic out-of-the-box models I've ever seen.
StevenGuthmiller Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Another Beauty Yuri!! I sure wish AMT would have done a better job on these steel wheels. Way too "thick" on the outer edge! Steve
impcon Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Wow!!!!!!!!!!!! That is one super clean and beautiful model! The foil work is incredible and the colors suit that vehicle. I think that the dog dish caps add a real touch of realism and there isn't much that can be done to enhance the simple yet stylish, clean looks of the '60 Ford IMHO. Some will disagree, but I believe that this is one of the model years of Ford is one that it is pretty hard to improve upon with fancy paint or wheels or alterations and always seems to look best in it's stock dress. This build is super well done and a fine tribute to a much under appreciated and today seldom seen marque. Perhaps the scarcity of the '60 Ford is part of what makes them so special today, but I have always liked them from day one.
Geno Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Wow, It looks like a real car. Amazing work and detail.
TooOld Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 All I could do is whistle when I saw the first picture . . . there are no words to describe it !
sjordan2 Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. What did you use for the chrome trim?
yura1961 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. What did you use for the chrome trim? I use Alumiharu P-929 from model factory hiro.
Harry P. Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Some will disagree, but I believe that this is one of the model years of Ford is one that it is pretty hard to improve upon... I agree, this is one of the best looking big Fords ever. Add the '64 through '67 Galaxies to that.
