RandyB. Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) I never thought about posting my finished '67 Camaro SS in this forum, rather I posted the finished pics in the "On the Workbench" forum where I did the WIP. Well anyway I will post a few pics here for those who didn't see it in that forum. As I mentioned before, this kit was a joy to build and I only encountered a couple of fit issues. Carb needed to be sanded down a bit in order for the hood to fit down flush without hitting the air cleaner and the back wheels after installation were not centered in the wheel wells and needed to be moved forward. I just trimmed about 1/16th" of the front of both leaf springs and moved the whole assembly forward. The same will be needed for the drive shaft as well. Check out the pics when you get a chance. DonW Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Wow! Very nice. In fact, prefect. Scott Beautiful. Were the two black bonnet vents dummies on the 1:1? I have a feeling they were.
Guest Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Another stellar build of a kit most here seem to think is a poc.
BigBad Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Excellent! This little 1:25th scale gem looks much better than most 1:18 diecast models I've seen! Very nice!
