crazyjim Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Finished just in time for the Ocala Pumpkin Run on October 25 - even though FAST members aren't eligible for the contest. Anyway, this is my '66 Riv finished in HOK tangerine kandy. Bumpers were stripped and painted body color and the headlights were filled. Interior has 4 Dodge Charger bucket seats.
Grumpa Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Wow...this is very nice Jim! Outstanding! The color, wheels, interior......really cool! Oh! And shiny......really...really...shiny!

Snake45 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Not crazy about the wheels or grille, but LOVE the color, paint, interior, engine, and everything else about it. Especially the front license plate. Sat Cong!
MsDano85gt Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 i'm not big on the grille either, but I DO feel the wheels work quite well !! Love it outstanding job great color choice throughout wish I could receive something like that for my birthday coming up at the end of the month lol
Mackvision Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Personally,i kinda like the custom grille, and I REALLY like the color choice!,really suits this car nice work all around!...........................Mark
crazyjim Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Thank you guys. The color is HOK tangerine kandy over black.
Snake45 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I REALLY like the color choice!,really suits this car... It really does. Back in the day I built an AMT annual and painted it AMT Candy Tangerine. I still have it but some years ago I got the urge to rebuild it stock, in white, and I stripped the paint off it. I didn't know at that time that AMT would be coming out with a new '66 Riv kit or I'd have left it alone. I believe back in the day, George Barris's daily driver was a Candy Tangerine '66 Riv with white vinyl top.
crazyjim Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 I never saw that pic before so I didn't steal the idea from George Barris. I just the color would look good on this build.
1930fordpickup Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Jim one of the many nice creations you have posted here. I like it.
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I really like it, but for some reason, now I'm craving an orange Creamsicle.
cobraman Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Very sharp ! You do have a way with interiors. : )
crazyjim Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 Thank you fellas. Creamsicle sounds like a plan.
TFchronos Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Wild Riviera, looks fantastic! Super shiny paint too!
