Good ol Monogram '39 Chevy coupe EX-street rod... in its late 90s 1999-2000 Revell boxing: "Bomba/Lowrider" look, mostly OOB: Model Master Lime Green + BMF sealed by MM clear coats...

Very nice. I love the looks of the Lowrider "Bombs". I did one of these a few years ago but in a darker Black Cherry color. Yours is much brighter.

Thx to all...

In fact i got the very first Street Rod edition way back in the late 70s (birthday gift), to be honnest was not a big fan of the looks.... Pontiac Trans AM wheels on a street rod? few "Street" parts, the way too high "truck" stance + that dull burgundy color, not really the Street Rod look i was expecting, even as a kid :P :monogram1939chevrolet_zps37af2061.jpg

When saw the Revell "Bomba" version, back in 2000, tough the kit was waaaaay better looking, with smaller diameter wheels/tires & lower suspension leafs...giving it a longer wheelbase & lower stance looks, way better looking (gracious) for sure then the first 70's edition, but thats only cosmectics! no "Hydro" stuff to be found (like the other Revell Low series kits) anyway good looking L.A."Bomba" type kit.
