Helix Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 G' Day Folks, Finally off the bench this one, built as part of another forums CB AMT kit, gone for the mild custom look, using Tamiya TS-89 Pearl Blue over a Testors Sterling Silver base coat. No clear coat, just polished using Tamiya finishing compounds. Shaved the door handles, trunk hinges off and cut the pillars off to give it a hardtop look. A basic interior in order to match and highlight the overall look. The engine is a flathead with small blower resin kit from 'The Parts Box'. Wheels are Pegasus Cheers and thanks for looking Ray
oldcars Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 That is one sweet ride. Love the flathead. I take it back. There is nothing about your model that I don't love. Richard
slusher Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Gorgeous and very impressive Ray. Love everything about it..
Ace-Garageguy Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Very nice, subtle, all the right parts. The shoebox Fords are such good-looking cars, they really come alive with just a few tasteful mods...like yours.
Nacho Z Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Very nice, Ray. Beautiful color combos throughout the model.
