towman1271
My first build since I was a kid & also first attempt with resin! Started with the complete kit from Dave at AITM & added a few things to make it look more like the movie truck

towman1271
It goes together real nice.. I did use longer tanks & aftermarket 2 hole wheels with actual rubber tires. But I must say Dave did a great job casting this kit!

Force
Very nice Dave. I do also have this kit from AITM and it's really good, but it's still waiting to be built. I haven't decided if I want to build it as is or if I will use the parts needed from it and add them to an AMT Mack R series to do a full detail model...well the future will tell. The only thing I know is that I don't want to use a Detroit Diesel engine...yes the movie truck did have the DD sound in most of the movie but the air cleaner in most scenes suggests the engine should be an ENDT 676 Tip Turbine as it has two inlet hoses going in under the hood...and that particular engine can be found in the AMT Mack Cruiseliner...Mack trucks with any other engine would have air cleaners with only one inlet hose going from the cleaner to the engine. I also will change the designation on the hood from the RL700L decal that comes with the kit to RS700L.
