crazyjim
Here's the '70 Torino I just completed in HOK lime gold kandy over lapis blue. It's pretty much box stock except for flocking and engine wiring. I didn't set the distributor low enough so the wires keep the hood up a little. I'll display it with the hood off. crazyjim
Thanks John. It's a nice kit that goes together pretty well. I had a small issue fitting the rear pan and ended up trimming the chassis a little.

unclescott58
Other than the fit of the hood, it looks great. The color works on that car. I hope you fix the hood fit problem, rather than displaying the car without its hood. A very sharp looking car. Scott
crazyjim
Thank you Bill, Ray, and Scott. The only way to get the hood to sit flat would be to take it apart, pull the engine, cut down a distributor and rewire everything. I already smashed the wires down as far as they'll go. It'll be shown with the hood off or propped up.

cobraman
Ya know, I had that problem with a hood once and I used my dremel to grind away a little plastic from under the hood. Don't know if that would be a workable solution for you. Just a thought.
crazyjim
I never thought about that Ray. Maybe I'll give it a try. Thanks.
