Don B Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Hi Everyone, After a minor setback it's finished. I started this build as a replica stock but had a change of mind. I decided to do it like the street cruisers of the early 70's so I ditched the magnum 500 wheels for some aftermarket wheels. I also blacked out the grill added yellow plug wires and headers along with lakewood traction bars. Raised the rear end a little. The usual BMF treatment and Keith Marks decals. It was a fun conversion to do. Thanks to fellow board member Ron S for making the personalized rear license plate along with the front vanity plate. Here are some pics. I hope you like it. Comments Welcome.
Raul_Perez Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Excellent work, Don!! The color, decals, BMF and all of the details look great!! Regards,
FordRodnKustom Posted January 28, 2008 Posted January 28, 2008 Outstanding build Don. The colors and period details are perfect. I can smell the $.45 a gallon Sunoco 260 now!
Randy Kern Posted January 29, 2008 Posted January 29, 2008 That is beautiful! This has to be one of the finest Chargers I've seen yet (along with Andy's). All my favorites; year, color, wheels, striping, stance, etc, etc. Fantastic job on the details, too.

James W Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Very nice! I've always considered the 68 Charger to be the best looking muscle car out there, and you've done them proud!!! I dig the over-spray on the chassis.
