Beeg Juanito Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Fiddy 7 Merchero. This was my first attempt at a Resin kit! It is from Modelhause. As all of you know,(That have ever worked Resin), they can be challenging at the very least. Having said that, this was no exception. It wasn't too bad, but it did have a few little quirks! I had to section the frame just a tad because the wheels didn't fit the wheel wells properly and the interior and glass needed a little help to fit properly. All in all, I believe Modelhause puts out the best in the market. Edited December 18, 2014 by Beeg Juanito
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Very cool John! Definitely something you don't see every day!! Steve
Krazy Rick Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 The model is nice, but the blue print is annoying.
Porscheman Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Beautiful build!!! Ditto on the blue typing.
cobraman Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Nice model and I agree about the blue print.
Ramfins59 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Great looking model John, and the color is cool too.
sjordan2 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Interesting to note that Ford Canada actually produced a Canada-only 1957 Mercury Meteor Ranchero, with different side trim and fins that were more akin to the Ford Ranchero. Edited December 18, 2014 by sjordan2
DR JAY Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Awesome subject and a very clean build. I did a conversion of the Modelhaud 59 Olds 98 to a Super 88 years ago and I have to agree that they put out some of the finest resin available.

Not a Mercury Meteor. A Meteor Ranchero yes. Sold through your Mercury-Lincoln-Meteor dealer. They did sell Mercury trucks through these dealerships too. But, the Ranchero was a Meteor only (with a Ford version at your Ford-Monarch dealer, of course). Not a Mercury. Scott Edited December 18, 2014 by unclescott58
Sixties Sam Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Great build! It's nice to see something really different. Great color and foil work! Sam
Lunajammer Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Fun with BMF. Excellent and unusual subject. Beautiful workmanship. Pleasing to look at.
