crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Here's Revell's Hot Rod Hydro in HOK limetime pearl with HOK sherwood accents. It's painted to match the extended van that's posted in the truck section. Whoops - forgot air filters and black in the exhaust pipes.
Ira Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Great Looking Combo Jim! Wonderful Paint & Detailing...
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 Thank you fellas and Merry Christmas.
High octane Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 That color looks great on it. A member of our club built one of those and said that the hull & trailer scale out to 'bout 1/20th scale.
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 Thank Nick. I tend to believe your friends stats - it does seem to be on the larger side.
High octane Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Don't get me wrong, as it still is a nice kit and yours came out lookin' good.
crazyjim Posted December 24, 2014 Author Posted December 24, 2014 Thank you Ray. Nick a friend of mine is narrowing the hull. I can see now why he's doing that.
Jurva Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Is that front section painted as water droplets? It's looking very convincing.
crazyjim Posted December 25, 2014 Author Posted December 25, 2014 Thanks guys. Yup -the hood/cowl has water spot effects.
tim boyd Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Most excellent....particularly with the matching van (which is uber-cool as well) and the interior detail! TIM
TooOld Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Wow that's pretty ! Beautiful work Jim and the paint is outstanding !
unclescott58 Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Commented on the van in the truck section. I like the boat too. Other than the "water drops". Over all, very nice. Scott
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Where did the water skis and scuba tanks come from?
crazyjim Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 Skis were in the kit. Tanks came from the garbage truck kit. Blue Bandito has tanks, flippers, mask.
