This year was overall really good for me. Well, finishing only three (!) models was a major disappointment, but because quality is much more important than the number of finished models, I'm really happy as I was able to improve the quality of my models again.

Other things slowed me down a lot, but here they are:

1. '61 Oldsmobile F85 Wagon. Built as a Mild Custom from Jo-Han kit. Painted with Tamiya Sprays, added engine details, scratchbuilt door panels and modified dashboard, backseat, trunk, floor, firewall and center console. Metal axle hole on the engine block was filled, air cleaner was modified a little, I added a carburetor, made new windows etc etc. Lots of work went into this one and I'm really happy how it looks:

2. '62 Chevrolet Impala S/S. This was built pretty much box stock from Revell's excellent kit. Only minor modifications were done, but then I added lots of details to the engine, interior and chassis.

3. '69 Dodge Charger Daytona Cannonball Run. This was built for the Cannonball Run CBP and of course most of the work was done in a hurry as the deadline was coming closer. :D Anyway I didn't rush it and I'm pretty happy. Front clip was molded as one piece with the front fenders, a couple of other unneccessary items were shaved from the body. I added lots of details to this one & did lots of little modifications.

Thanx For Lookin'!

I would tow the Chevy to the track with the Wagon. The Charger comes out at midnight and terrorizes anything that dares to hit the streets.

Nice cars

Great to see these again Niko. Since I really like wagons and Johans the Olds is a natch for favourite - but they're all very sharp.

Beautiful trio of builds Niko !

It seems like there are a quite a few of us who only finished three in 2014 , looks like I'm in good company .

I'm looking forward to seeing your '73 Chevelle next year (?) ! :D

Thanks Everyone! The kind words mean a lot & keep me going.

Cliff: I'm glad you enjoy seeing what I've built. I hope you'll have a good 2015 as well, I really enjoy seeing your nice and clean builds as well. And Traditional style is my favorite, too.

Michael: Yep that is true :D ! Actually I'm building a V8 Boat and a trailer and it will be towed with that Oldsmobile. It should be done next year.

Peter & Mike: That Oldsmobile is probably the best build I did this year. I think it has the best paint job and when considering what modifications I had to do, it might be the best of them. But stylewise my favorite is that '62 Impala, nothing beats an old Stock / Super Stock Drag Car.

Bruce: Hopefully I can keep them coming. I should have two models finished in early 2015 though. That would be a good start.

Bob: Yep, three seems to be "the thing" this year. And while looking at your and other people's builds too, I'm definitely in a good company too. I hope I can start the '73 Chevelle next year. I took a break of creating the master for my Frontrunner tires but I think I must finish it now and send it to the resin caster. Then I can get going with that Chevelle. I can't wait!

James: Happy 2015 for you, too! I enjoy seeing your builds as well. They're always so nice and clean.

And thanks everyone else, too! I highly appreciate all comments. Thanks :) !

They are all stunning builds but the Olds wagon just commands attention. Beautiful work on it, the Impala and Daytona as well. I look forward to seeing what you do in 2015, Happy New Year!

Niko my friend, you keep getting better and better. Amazing stuff. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about that orange car I like......

Happy New Year

Michael: Thanks! Your builds were super clean too, so I appreciate it a lot. :)

Jonathan: I agree, the Oldsmobile looks really good. Thanks for the kind words! I think it's the one I'm the most proud of. I can't wait to see your builds, too, as I know they will be top notch. Happy New Year!

Joe: Thanks Buddy! I agree that my skills have improved a lot during the last couple of years. And I think one reason for that is this forum with its great builders and tips & tricks. Heh I knew you'd like the Hemi in that Charger  ! Just as much as I like the 409 in that Impala. :D

Happy New Year to you, too. And to everyone else of course as well.
