Looks good Pat.

What did you use for all of the sockets on the cart?

They are resin Rob. I can look up the source if you want.

Looking at these wonderful engines you're building is almost as fun as picking out all the amazing bits and pieces strewn about the shop! :D

I had built an oxy-acetylene set for the restoration shop. It was a resin set with scratchbuilt cart & torch.

I needed another one for the engine shop. I found this one on eBay. It is white metal and wood.

Started by drilling the bottles on the lathe. This way the fittings will be more centered than by eyeball.

A clapped out Porsche 956 has been brought in. Its engine is shot.

The owner has asked FTB to do a cosmetic restoration and to set it up like this for displaying in a museum where he has donated it.

The kit engine doesn't have a bottom.

The headers are molded to the floor.

The suspension cross arm wasn't meant to be seen from the front. That was easy to fix.

The air intake/rad/intercooler interface has to support a lot from a narrow connection. So I drilled the interfaces out & pinned them

956 engine looks like a fun job.

Don't forget to get the new torch out and lop off those bolts on the hub. ;)
