Built pretty much box stock from the Lindberg Charger police kit. Tamiya dark blue metallic covers the body. Interior detailed with some aftermarket printed computer screens and details. Lightbar also detailed with printed LED inserts. Decals by ebay seller policecardecals. Nice kit, but the instructions seemed to be very confusing at times...parts were mislabeled or numbered incorrectly for some reason. Parts fit under the hood are a bit finicky, too.

Looks great!

I agree the kit is finicky, but it does builds up well.

The instruction sheet must come from Dragon Models in China, their's are bad too.

We'll be seeing more of these in Nevada, seems the Ford SUV Interceptor isn't "working out"....................................

BTW they are deleting the long gold stripe and returning to the white diagonal door stripe under the star. The doors still say Highway above and Patrol under the star. It's a mix of old and new.

*edit* The new style markings started in mid 2014 with a new DPS director.

Thanks Wayne, I'm aware they went with new markings recently, sort of like they're old 80s markings. The ebay seller has the new set and a vintage set as well, he's based out of Henderson, so I guess he's got access to a lot of NHP cars.

Nice Charger!

I've done one from Texas DPS and the Lindberg kit is really good!!

By the way your lightbar is just perfect.

Congratulations!

Nice to see you back, Tom.

Very nice model, too. Interesting they went with the grey interior. I saw some sales material for the Charger patrol car and I saw a beige or tan interior was available, too, which, to me, would make more sense in that hot weather.

The LED print outs are a great idea. Kit looks great, I was debating on using that exact lightbar on a kit, you made it fit well. Did you have any trouble with attaching the front clip? I had soo many problems with mine.
