espo
#4 Looks like a late '60s Dodge drag racing type hood. #5 Looks like a '68 to '70 Pontiac drag racing hood. #6 Is all Hemi bits. In line duel quad air cleaner, in line duel quad manifold, a NASCAR type manifold, and a cross ram manifold. I would bow to those with more knowledge on the Mopar parts. I would bow to those with more knowledge on the Mopar parts. Yes, I think they're from a JO-HAN kit ('69 Roadrunner, perhaps?), but not sure. Just found out the clear hood is from a '68 GTO. gtx6970
#2 tail lights is mpc 1972 Duster Hard to tell the rest on my phone. I would like more info on the white hood though. Does the bottom side look like raw fiberglass?
Casey
I would like more info on the white hood though. Does the bottom side look like raw fiberglass? Thanks on the t/ls. Yes, it does, Bill. There's a resin copy of this hood on eBay which says it's for a '72-4 Barracuda, and the hood shape does look like it'd be for a 'Cuda, so maybe an MPC 'Cuda Pro Stock kit? Tail lights #3 look like the '72-4 Barracuda, too, so maybe they're from the same kit?
Tom Geiger
1 is not the MPC Dart Sport, just pulled the kit out and it has two separate tail lights that press in from front 3. is the Barracuda. Just held one up against the screen, yup that's the bugger!
gtx6970
#6. Is the air cleaner 2 piece? If so it's most likely johan . As i don't think any other are 2 piece assemblies
gtx6970
Casey, I think the hood is challenger,,,,just cant remember or find out which issue it came from. Time Machine resin lists a copy of it. at http://www.timemachineresin.bravehost.com/draghoods.html The only plastic Cuda pro stock cuda hood I know of is the Don Carlton car ( and its subsequent issues )
gtx6970
If the hood is indeed stryene. And you want to get rid of it,,I would be interested . It looks like the right hood to do the Bill Bagshaw 1971 Pro Stock ,,or at least pretty close to it. EDIT, I just measured originals I have. measuring along the side from rear corner to ft corner MPC pro stock challenger / Dick Landy hood = 2-9/16" MPC pro stock cuda / Don Carlton hood = 2-5/16" Edited March 4, 2015 by gtx6970
disabled modeler
Isn't that hood close to the one in the Johan Sox and Martin Cuda kit???
Mark
#4 is the optional "gasser" hood from the MPC '74 Challenger. It might be in the '73 also. It wasn't in the pro stock kit (there was only one Challenger, the Dick Landy car, which had a different hood). #1 taillight is probably from the same Challenger kit, but is the same '72 through '74. Casey
Thanks. Yes, Bill, the air cleaner appear to be two pieces, though this has has been glued together.
Muncie
#4 - hood - Mark's got it, You can notice the shape near the hood pins that lines up with the character line on the Challenger front fender. The 'Cuda doesn't have that shape. However somebody may have shortened a Challeger hood to fit a 'Cuda. It is an easy modification so it may be worhtwhile check the part against a known Challenger hood for size.
ProStreetOnTheStrip
To me #1 looks like tailights from a monte carlo or other GM G-Body...

Thank you x2, Mark. Just checked the #1 tail light against an MPC Landy kit on eBay, and it looks the same. Thanks for the help, all. Casey
Found a few more I could use some help identifying, please: 1) AMT(?) hood...early to mid-'60s, Ford maybe?: 2) Skid platefrom ????: 3) Pretty sure these are from the Aurora '34 Ford Coupe:
Rodent
IIRC, the MPC 73 Roadrunner had an "off-road" version that had a skid plate something like that. Edited March 9, 2018 by Rodent
Mark
(1) is from an MPC Mustang kit, probably the '68. (2) skid plate might be from an AMT '64 Falcon, which had a Monte Carlo Rally version. I'll edit that, it is likely from the MPC Roadrunner kit due to the notch in the center/front (to fit around the K-member). (3) are from the Aurora '34 Ford. The front section of the frame is missing though. Edited March 9, 2018 by Mark correction

Casey
A few more...: 1) Has to be from an MPC 1970(?) annual Challenger or Barracuda, molded in (not painted) purple): 2) Rear(?) body panel from a Ford ???? Has brackets on the interior side which might be for tilting the body up, so maybe a Funny Car?: 3) Bottom part is the AMT '32 Ford Sedan grille, but not sure on the top piece. Looks '60s Chrysler-ish? Imperial?: 4) This is much less pale in person, but not so gold like the Monogram '29 Pickup. Looks like a clearance hump for a rear cross spring? pack rat
#1 is from an MPC '70 or '71 Challenger annual (some were molded in purple both years) #2 is a rear body panel from a Ford J-car (looks like IMC, but mine is buried presently. could be MPC?) #3 looks like a custom front end from the original AMT '62 Bonneville HT #4 is the rear interior filler-piece for the AMT '40 Ford sedan delivery

I checked out the IMC Ford J-car and verified that particular piece is from that kit. Ditto for the custom nose piece from the AMT '62 Bonnie HT. Toner283
6 hours ago, pack rat said: #4 is the rear interior filler-piece for the AMT '40 Ford sedan delivery Pack rat got this one 100%. Fits below the cargo floor at the rear. On a 40 sedan delivery, the spare tire is stored horizontally below the cargo floor just inside the rear door. The "hump" on the part is the treads on the spare tire sticking out.

Ahhhhhh....I see it now. I have a few more parts I could use some help with. I think I know which kits a few of these parts were included with, but not sure on some: 1) Firefighter's hat: AMT Cinder Bug? 2) Silver plastic transfer case from ??? 3) Ladder bar from AMT(?) ???? 4) Log style intake manifold from AMT ??? 5) Chrome plated crankshaft from AMT(?) ??? 6) DESOTO FIRE DOME EIGHT early Hemi valve cover from AMT '32 Ford Roadster?? 7) RH Cadillac engine/trans half from JO-HAN ??? Snake45
That type of traction bar was used in several of the AMT first-gen funny cars from 1967. Impossible to say exactly which one that particular one came from, unless there's a difference in the holes that I've never noticed.
