unclescott58
Pontiac built two. I saw one at the Pontiac Nationals a couple of years ago. The Banshee was there too. Scott

Art Anderson
I've seen the real Bonneville Dream Car--stunning machine! (saw the other, unrestored one at the auction at Auburn IN about 15 years ago or so. Art
slusher
Real cool design and I bet was mind blowing in the 50's..
horsepower
Cadillac made one on a slightly newer chassis: The Cadillac XLR, built on the Corvette platform was actually in production for awhile. There's a black one that could pass for this in town I see it a couple of times a month.
espo
I saw something this weekend on TV about the collector who has the Bonneville. He is selling his collection at auction in January in Scottsdale. The show talked about this and a GM Future Liner from the early '50s. I'm pretty sure it will be a Barrett Jackson Auction. thatz4u
can't leave Buick out of this....http://www.conceptcarz.com/view/photo/312666,1756,0,0/photo.aspx Edited November 17, 2014 by thatz4u
blunc
I keep wondering if GM corporate killed all division "concept" sports cars in order to keep from diluting Corvette sales. I have found that all US car makers (including the long dead/absorbed car makers) in have been producing fascinating (and sometimes horrifying) concept cars with surprising features since the late 1930's. Craig Irwin
I would imagine the low early Corvette sales scared everyone else off.
bbowser
I knew about the Pontiac and the Buick, never seen the Olds. Thanks for sharing.
Custom Hearse
Harley Earl designed this car, but I'm curious as to who designed the Buick and the Oldsmobile. Does anyone else think this would've made a good Spycar for 007?
ZTony8
The Buick is the one I got to sit in(it was painted gold back then). I was about 7 years old when it was on display at the Buick dealership where my Dad was service manager so I got a free shot one weekend evening.
