Sixties Sam
Very cool! Nice to see an unusual subject modeled. It reminds me of the 57 Dodge wagon my parents had when I was a kid. Great color scheme on this one! Sam

impcon
I can't recall ever seeing a real wagon like that, but it certainly is pretty!! Weren't those the days though? A time when life was a whole lot more simple, less stressful, cars had human engineered styling and grace and the music was better. I can almost hear Danny and The Juniors singing "At The Hop". or maybe Perry Como singing "Catch a falling Star" as mom drives to the supermarket for groceries with the kids playing in the back seat when I look at your photos. Wagons are really cool and I remember family vacations with my parents in our '59 Chevy Brookwood with my brother and I playing, sleeping or just watching the world go by from the rear cargo area. My folks would fold the back seat down and put a mattress in so us kids could enjoy the trip. And enjoy we did! But back to your Desoto. Nice build and the colours are sweet!!!! I may have to order me one of those..
