MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Great looking build, I like the matte finish, and the engine looks great as well.
  2. That’s pretty sweet!
  3. Thank you for the comments everyone.
  4. That looks fantastic! I’m working on the version of that using the revell kit, good stuff. But I too am dreading detailing the chassis/suspension lol
  5. Built this a few months ago, I really like the plow part of the kit, pretty nice in my opinion.
  6. Love this! Well done.
  7. Usually I will do that on a Mopar , as this is a GM, it seems like they had minimal if any body color over spray on the underside sheet metal , and generally used a red oxide primer in the rust belt assembly plants after a certain point.
  8. The 3.4 DOHC alternator job is cake😎 remove tire, lower right side of sub frame, the key to the whole operation is removing the fan and pulley after frame is lowered, then you can slip them right out….., did a ton of them back in the day…..
  9. I like Tamiya semi gloss black myself
  10. I was up to 1000 kits or so, sold 200 to a buddy who buys/sells, got into HO scale trains last year, so buying kits for that addiction now, it is what it is. I can’t afford every car I want in 1:1, so scale models will have to do😁
  11. Man that’s pretty! beautifully done.
  12. WOW! Socks knocked off! Absolutely beautiful!
  13. I always glue together as much of any assembly that I can ( engine, chassis etc) , and then paint the assembly, keeps the touch ups to a minimum.
