  1. That really came out beautiful great color combo i have that it has been sitting on my to do shelf for 6 years i found one in perfect shape all the parts still on the tree the only thing that has held me up is the way the head lights came with the kit what did you use to make them look as good as you did on this build.
  2. That one came out beautiful, nice color combo great save.
  3. That was the very first model car i ever built i was 10 waking home from school stopped in the RX drug store on the corner saw the AMT 3-in-1 kit it was $1.49 and that was in May of 1962 it started a lifelong hobby for me 15 years ago i found one in the box in perfect shape all the parts had to have the chrome redone i paid $140.00 for it it is still on the shelf i want to build it but not sure of the colors and the way 3 years ago i was at a local show found a total stock unpainted in good shape for $15.00 that one i rebuilt can't wait to see how you go with this one.
  4. I love that all the old kits are coming back i hope they step it up these are cars we all drove and loved i have been building model cars for 63 years i started in 1962 and i for one only build American cars it's this country's auto history.! And it's what build the custom world and racing world I LOVE IT.! and if the model company's want to keep getting my money i hope they dig deeper in that old back room.!!!!
  5. Beautiful build that's the perfect color for that car and i love the dog dish caps with the white letters awesome.!
  6. That's what i am doing i just per-ordered 3 of the Cuda kits and i have 2 of these slant-6's coming one for the Cuda and one for a 3D 67 Valiant kit i ordered.!
  7. I have been waiting for this kit i have a few on pre-order with model round up thanks for posting this photo it's better than i had hoped for i like no metal axles that's a lot like some of Revell's parts very nice i already have some 3-D slant-6's ordered with the hyper-pak.
  8. I have been waiting for a repop of the 65 Cuda for years never thought i would see it i just per-ordered 3 of them from Modelround up.! and some 3-D slant-6's with the sidedraft weber carbs.
  9. Great build Ford had that and a two-door station wagon back in the 60's the auto store in my aria had one of these for their Delivery's You nailed the one in the photo to a Tee.
  10. Beautiful build i love that car it was so far ahead of it's time for a 50's design and the wheels look great the stock wheels were boring i am building one myself and i am going with custom wheels to.
  11. WOW ! that is awesome really beautiful the colors are perfect and the seats that is the first time i have ever seen anyone do that beautiful.!
  12. This is a great kit i have been wanting a full detail kit on this car for a long time i have opened the hood on the AMT kits but this has the right layout i got one of each of the new kits this one does not have a full interior the one with the red box does if you're looking to do a stock version.
  13. Your build came out beautiful the color and the wheels look great it is nice to see this year GTO in model form i hope mine comes out half as good i am really surprised the model companies never did a plastic kit on the last year the GTO was in the Tempest/Lemens body.
  14. lol yeah i got the 64 also i knew it was a curbside but that's what i wanted that's my next project i got a couple 3D in-line 6's with the side draft weber carbs to do a street build up. and your right the decals came in very handy for both.
  15. I am building a 65 SS now myself and the biggest thing was the tail panel i took a gamble and bought a AMT 65 AWB kit and cut out the rear panel ant it was a good gamble it dropped in with very little work i also used the taillights and bumper it all fit good and has the factory look. I hope to get to the point soon to show some photos.
