Monster bike build

23 February 2013 - 01:51 PM

Not sure what to call this yet, me and my son were going thru an indoor flea market yesterday as I am always on the look out for models or things i can use for modeling and came across this.  the skeleflex and just the stance that the creature had made me think of a motorcycle. so i bought the two they had and so far came up with this:

this is what it looks like all  built up:

not sure where im going with this as i have another major build in the works that is taking all of my time but will continue to keep plugging a way at it to see if it would make an awesome bike build.

3-D Printing is now affordable

15 January 2013 - 01:30 PM

I have been following this technology for a while and did not realize just how cheap it is to buy a printer and make your own model parts. For $500.00 your up and running and the software to design the parts is free, there are three well known programs and google has one of them called sketchup. Just have to start saving up some cash to get one..................http://www.solidoodl...CFetDMgodqWsAow

It is just totally amazing, what ever you can think up and draw in the program you can print out........

Just my personal opinion, going out on a limb here, I believe someday this will be a tool on the bench of a lot of scratch builders world wide. Its $43.00 for 2lbs of plastic but that can go a long way for miniature tiny little parts.......

As soon as I can come up with the coin im gonna try one out myself.

Aztec Warrior 1950 Ford Paint ideas updated 5.1.2013

06 November 2012 - 12:00 AM

I haven't for gotten about the strippers delight but had another brain storm, turning a 1950 Ford into a custom aztec warrior complete with stone work pyramids and custom interior to look like stone work just like my (1941 chevy) hell train build i just finished.

got the doors opened and ready to frame....

trying out something new for me anyway, skinning the top layer off of foam core to use for interior panels that i can carve intricate aztec designs in the door panels, dash, and roof. The bed will have a pyramid and other aztec design/shapes in it.

Hot Wheel Snow Ride Detail and Re-Paint

29 October 2012 - 02:50 PM

This is my first try at de-assembling, stripping and rebuilding a hot wheel. This one has no wheels but will use it to fill the bed of either a f-150 pickup or a 1950 pickup for extra detail.

Strippers Delight

27 August 2012 - 01:16 PM

Now that my other build is finished I am ready to put all my energy forth for the newest themed build. Called strippers delight, basically a strippers stage on wheels. Here are pics of where I am at now, this time its not gonna be a lowrider (even thou there is a dayton mocked up under the rear fender), that will save a lot of work on the hydro system.
