  1. Just awesome! It's a piece of art...
  2. Spex84 - Thank you for the nice comments. Yeah, I followed the Rat's Glass style with a 32 grill though. The windshield is hand-cut and set in flush to the body. Thank you and a well received compliment from a master craftsman Thank you sir.. Coil-overs are from the kit, I used Aluminum Plate and buffed with platinum buffed in between the springs
  3. Nice build, sharp looking Chv-ell
  4. Excellent! Well done, great finish and detail.
  5. Thanks! The wheels are actually out of an old AMT Matador kit. The rears are Pegasus 19" sleeves to give the bigger deeper look. I chose them because the shape of the openings are matched to the shape of the side window area.
  6. Something I just finished last week -My highly customized build of the 32 Phantom Vicki kit. As you can compare the box art, I added side engine panels, filled in the rear wheel wells to be smooth, channeled the body over the chassis, chopped the front grill-shell, made the grill insert with wire, chopped the kits convertible top and molded it in to the body as a coupe.Filled in the rear panel and added a fuel-cell filler.Custom interior panels The motor is a cross-ram injected set-up. Paint is Duplicolor Platinum on top, with a fine orange body-line stripe above the Electric Current Red.
  7. Yes, a hand mastered one that Modelhaus offered. I have both the HT and I built the convertible as a tribute to one my dad owned for many years, I grew up with the 67 GP's Here's the one I built of the 67 GP
  8. Wow! off the chart detailing, and done very well
  9. Very nice build. Enjoyed looking at the pictures
  10. Excellence! Well done finish and detail work
  11. Very nice! Well done with one of these somewhat basic "motorized" kits. I also like your brick backdrop, great idea!
  12. Thanks again to all the nice comments on my GS Corvette build, much appreciated.
  13. Yes, thanks again to link that in my "on the workbench" build thread, I was trying to create my own Cup style wheels and didn't nail it, so your suggestion really did make this build come together just right.
  14. When I first saw this on the Chevy website a month or so ago, I knew I had to build a duplication of this Heritage Edition C7 Stingray Grand Sport. Lot's of custom building went into make this Revell Snaptite base Stingray Corvette into a Grand Sport. The side fender vents are styled diffferent, the wider 4" rear wheel wells had to be created, brake vents and covers for the upper rear vents, front airdam splitter, side rocker splitters and rear spoiler splitters added, those were a major pain to do and hard to see too for all the effort. Wheels are exact Cup style wheels, a link to Plamoz.com provided by another member here made all the difference to make this a pretty cool replica build. Paint, Duplicolor Artic Polar White, Electric Blue and Electron Red for the color accents. The inset images in the top pictures are from the Chevy website representing the actual car. Some build features
  15. Impressive, nice craftsmanship all around.
  16. Looks real nice. I too built this kit as a simple curbside, just not that nice of a kit to spend a lot of effort doing a detail build.
  17. An update to the C7 GS - Coming to the home stretch, worked on hand making the lower side rocker valances and the front airdam. Still in mock-up stage.... Interior placed, glass paint trimmed, headlights detailed. Next front wheel-well air-deflectors, rear spoiler air-deflectors and brakes and wheels attached. Starting to look like the actual GS Heritage Edition
  18. Wow! Excellent craftmanship. Great looking radical custom
  19. Very cool builds. Nice work on all the custom parts
  20. Yes! liking these a lot and you were right, as much time and effort to make a GS, the correct wheels make all the difference. I took your earlier suggestion and grinded them off, I could see how they could break with having to really push these into the tires.
  21. Received the Cup Wheels from Plamoz... Wow, just perfect, excellent casting, packaging and included PE C6 and C7 center caps, I haven't installed yet. The Heritage edition option for these wheels is matte gun-metal with polished spoke faces. So far so good.
  22. Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Worked on the interior, looking okay, so far... cut out the grab-handle on the side of the dash where it meets the console, and printed gauges
