  1. Here is my latest box art build. One of my favorite all time kits, built from the recent reissue. Thanks for taking a look. Comments always welcome.
  2. Welcome! I was born in Port Jeff(Mather) and grew up in Centereach and various North Shore beaches . Live in Flariduh now.
  3. The original issue had two sets of quad head lights, custom vertical housings and and custom horizontal housings. The Flashback reissue retains the vertical quad housings.
  4. All exceptional in their own right but the 712 really speaks to me. Well done. Thanks.
  5. Cool! I collect the "New Models" every year and I'll pick up whatever others I like. No trip to any store is complete without checking the Hot Wheels rack! Happy B Day!
  6. Exceptional job on a difficult kit. Good to see one built up to this level. Well done!
  7. What's My Car Worth, Chasing Classic Cars, Fantom Works, Graveyard Cars(post Darrin) and Bitchin Rides, My Classic Car sometimes Garage Squad and whatever auctions they show. When a show's capsule description begins with "The guys" I tune away immediately rather then get hit with shovels full of goofy antics, drama and posing but that's just me.
  8. I'm by far not an expert on this but I think the Gremlin, 40 Ford coupe, 36 Plymouth. Mustang and 37 Chevy series with the multi piece bodies represent the Tobias chassis dirt modifieds where as the Vega, 34 Ford, 36 Chevy and Pinto as Dave said above with the tri five Chevy style chassis represent an asphalt modified but I might add that they would be correct for a Northeast tour car as well. As for the full bodied Modified Stocker series I would suggest that they loosely represent cars from the Modified Sportsman division from the period. JMHO. Tobias type dirt modified Gremlin and Mustang Asphalt Modified pinto Sportsman Chevelle
  9. Outstanding work! I worked in a Lincoln-Mercury dealership in the mid '70s and drove many of these stately cars when new and I can say you really captured the "presence" of it. Well done.
  10. Agreed. That would be great along with the moon caps too.
  11. Wow that looks good. I like the way you echoed the side trim there on the door panels and The T-Bird console is brilliant. Not sure about the speaker grill there on the dash but that's just me. Well done sir!
  12. Turns out I just started one from the previous issue of this kit. Doing a custom long roof. Looks like it's going to be fun. Hope the new issue has a little less flash and better quality styrene than this issue!
  13. Agreed. Heavy Metal was my thoughts exactly when I first saw that image.
  14. As the Mod/Admin of two other modeling forums I can say that truer words were never spoken! Thanks for the perspective Steve.
  15. Outstanding creative build! Right out the pages of the old "Heavy Metal" magazine. Like it a lot.
  16. Ya'll enjoy and be careful out there tonight! Somehow i managed to get 4 done this year. Thanks for looking.
