  1. What is part 73 on the door panel sprue?
  2. Meh, that’s a huge difference imo . Never seen the show , so I don’t know how much the front seat plays into the storyline . The KITT car it was a huge part of the transformation . just ordered two of the 67’s . Figure I can use a rear seat to make a correct front , then cast it up . I see a market for it ...
  3. One can only hope ...... shouldn’t be too hard to adapt the panels from the rear to the front though....
  4. I guess . I see it as a huge shortcoming. Why can’t it represent an actual 1:1 seat though??
  5. Putting in work on the engine tonight . Wanted to keep as close to the 1:1 distributor as possible .
  6. Man , that front seat is a huge disappointment . Would it have killed them to tool up a correct 1:1 bench seat ??
  7. Texanwirewheels.com rollin84z.com
  8. Quick mock up . Still waiting on more paint to come in to paint the firewall and engine , have to build a chassis still .
  9. Well, that went pretty quick. Resin head unit , speakers , and headrest tv monitors . USCP resin Nardi steering wheel . Kens flocking .
  10. It did not . It was in a bundle of decals I got from another builder .
  11. Spent today masking for the flocking after first painting the seat areas a textured tan to match the landau top . Filled the holes on the trunk floor with stretched spruce and CA . Modified the trunk speaker panel so I can install a lighted enclosure . Added resin TV headrests to the kit seats . Began the layout of the resin speakers on the door panels as well .
  12. I started by prepping all of the mold lines, applied a lacquer primer. Spazstix silver basecoat was then applied. I cut a piece of masking paper 1/8” smaller than the trunk decal, and used small loops of tape to stand off of the trunk for a soft edge. I applied the hood decal before the Kandy coat was applied. I used 4 coats of Kandy blue SpazStix On the entire body . After it cured I removed the paper and tape , then applied the trunk decal . I added the foil before sealing it all in with Nason 497-00 clear coat and a fast hardener. For the roof I used testors textured interior tan spray paint .
  13. Thanks, I guess. And , Scarface????
  14. The 713 has a unique style . These are referred to as “slabs” , the wheels “84’s” or “swangers” . I’m a Houston native. This has been on my build list for sometime now, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea , and i get that. But I don’t like being like everyone else either ...
  15. 3dScaleparts wheels , Vogue tires, hood emblems and fifth wheel , Kandy blue over silver . Waiting on a Donk Cadillac kit from Canada for the interior and a few more 3d printed goodies .
  16. I’ll be happy with the vert so I can restore my HT that’s been in my collection for the last 20 years .
  17. Here’s the ones I got from USCP . They are beautiful and perfect to scale
  18. I’d be in for a case or two just for building , dioramas , etc .
  19. About the only thing you wouldn’t get is the correct Open Road cab, as it was the 67-68 type which was updated to the 72 . But I totally could live with that. Prices on even the model king release are in the stratosphere
  20. I don’t think I’ve been this excited for a resin release in 20 years!!! I started a regular coupe conversion years ago , but gave up at the headlights. What’s the timeline on this one ?
  21. There’s a company from the Ukraine that makes them in resin and they make very nice parts. You can find them on eBay from time to time. Off the top of my head I think it’s called USCP
  22. If only they would have actually tooled up a 4.1 , instead they gave us the Chevy 305/350. I hope (but know it’s a lost cause) they include the custom “donk” interior
