Super easy on the 67 , you have a lot of open deck space for the hinges

Ctmodeler is a solid dude ... kept me updated even after I’d given up all hope of usps actually delivering anything and quit following the box... perfect kit inside....

Revell 1971 Boss 351 Mustang

I can’t yawn hard enough ..... ANOTHER mustang kit ?? -
sucks , But it’s the reality . Low prices are the game changer. Doesn’t matter how polite you are , or how willing to bend over backwards for a customer you are . If HL has it cheaper , they will get the business . I know I look there first before going to the hobby shop . And I get sticker shock so bad at the hobby store I usually go home empty handed

I don’t know how I stumbled back onto this topic again ....but I ended up purchasing another test shot and you’re right ,they like to use weird colors ....so far I have some salmon colored ones, some gray ones, a white one and now this lime green one...

It was in BTTF if I recall correctly ... -
I’ll give that a try , I never even thought to do that. I’m just a perfectionist , I have a 50% reject rate on a couple items , although I try to keep it around 10% for the most part . I can’t imagine sending something out with even a minor pinhole. This is totally a side hustle for me , although it’s becoming more and more full time as the months progress . I use the resin parts sales to either buy more supplies or kits to in turn offer more parts ..... hopefully I can transition to doing this full time as a business before too long .... but 3d printing is creeping in awful hard .

What do folks prefer ? Even if I have the parts in stock , I always reply cast to order when asked , as it prevents delays if they order more than I have in hand , or two people order more than I have on hand at the same time . Does that cost me sales ? Or do people just ask to be inquisitive??

Nobody gonna point out they are using Monogram branding on the elco??

It will still be the same crappy “wire wheels” they put in every kit since the 65 impala , with the goofy Dunlop tires . I wish they would pull the wire wheels are low pro tires from the monte ss kit and use them across the board .

Added the spoilers , working on getting them fitted to the body and molded in . Also cleaned up all the mold line and began fitting the door . All the paint should arrive this week , blue on bottom to purple to hot pink on top. Covering all of that in HOK ultra mini rainbow flake and DuPont 2k clear . -
Oof other than the wheels , those look rough . And here I’ve been tossing parts with a 1mm pinhole or less to keep folks happy .... geez , I need to lower my QC standards, apparently people accept bubble filled garbage with a smile ....

Correct , it’s been in several different movies , here’s more than you could ever want to know about it , although for pics of the different paint you will have to use your Google-fu ... https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Archive/Event/Item/1966-DODGE-TRADESMAN-A-100-BARRIS-CUSTOM-SUPERVAN-188806 -

I enjoy building out of production kits . This one survived unbuilt for 43 years , it’s due .... -

Got my pink flocking here , working on wheels choices . No matter , I’ll have to widen the track for any wheel I choose as the kit tires are supposed to be super wide , but they are also super gone .
