  1. To prevent those so inclined from printing these out on their own thus, basically, printing counterfeit stamps.
  2. Actually, the 37 Ford in the link is a prime example of the "fake patina applied to a fiberglass body", and very well done, at that.
  3. Art, I read that as "sheet metal parts" . Body panels, wings, end plates ... that sort of stuff.
  4. The artwork on the package makes the tires look much wider than they are. They are, according to the sidewall, 215/70 VR15 tires. They scale out to right at 9-inch case width and a 7-inch tread and they look reeeaaalllly nice. The wheels are standard Fujimi quality (ie. pretty nice).
  5. My first thought; "The Shadow Knows."
  6. Actually the Isetta is some 15 inches shorter than a Smart Car and about 62 inches shorter than a current Mini. It's roughly the size of a large washing machine.
  7. Yes ... a variation on Simple Gifts/Lord of the Dance. Guitar has nice tone.
  8. Sorry, I didn't mean to cause physical pain. If you need to see more a google search on "Corvette rat rod" will yield a few more shots.

  10. Unless the engine runs ...
  11. You haven't changed to Winter Air yet? Wassa matta u?
  12. Contact the caster and explain the problem. If he's reputable, he'll fix the problem; if not, he'll ignore you or ...
  13. Pretty sure that is Jeff Norwell's work. Looks like his logo in the rear window.
  14. While this is an Oldsmobile rear end and not a Ford 9-inch, it still has a center section like the Ford and it's been chrome plated. There's a prototype for everything; never say never.
  15. Ask and ye shall receive! Model Car World Automotive Finishes - Resin Catalog
  16. Probably at a foundry.
  17. And the two terms have been interchangeable in popular usage for as long as I can remember and everybody seems to know what is being talked about regardless which term is being used. Oh, as long as we're being pedantic; "weather" is what's happening outside, the term you're looking for is "whether", a much graver error than "hubcap/wheel cover".
  18. It was "suspended" and now it's back. Guess Bob paid his account.
  19. Please, Master, show us how to push the envelope.
  20. Yesterday, on our way back from my son's Marching Band Competition, I saw a very restorable 69 GTO Judge on a trailer.
  21. Ah, but what's seven years among friends, eh?
