Mounted on the chassis, lights and extended mirror to add, plus possibly a camo paint job! Difficult to spray paint so maybe a bit of brush work!

Cheers Les I'll have a butchers!

Nearly, nearly! I thought of woodying it but with the 600cc engine it would never move! It looks grubby so I will have to come up with something! It will have an 'L' shape corner trim around most of it.

Outside of shows and of course eBay, I have not seen a truck kit in stores in a long time. We had a close-out store that had tons of various kits. I bought up maybe 20 Louisville Ford box trucks, well over 50 of the green Craftsman (Quaker State) trucks for $1.97 each. 40 will fit in a shopping cart.
I had also grabbed those ERTL promo cars, they were $3 each then 2 for $5. On eBay I had 2 guys in a bidding war over a '68 Corvette that I had clearly advertised as being issued in 1995. That topped $60.
The prices are right but to import one is nearly $30!

Cheers Bob. I wish we had open stores and the volumes of kits, but not here in the UK.

Does anyone know if these producers of Nascar Models going to produce any pick-up kits?
-
An already started one of these. I just hope that the decals are 100%!
22.04.24 Arrived today all parts there, and decals look okay, but not tried.

Cut open windows and framed them on one side.

Thanks JollySipper. Yes I also have some wood drills with a sharp point and a round blade, various sizes. I drew one on some scrap plastic and used a sharp craft blade, that seemed to work OK. But time will tell after a few different ideas.

Citroen 2CV update. I couldn't think of anyway to construct a camper shell other than on the base vehicle.
This is the high-tech template for the camper sides, I've yet to work out how to cut for windows!

Brilliant start!

The roof is off! I may try to build a de-mountable camper shell!

Yes Trevor very good reasoning!

New Heller Citroen 2CV, started today. Decision, car, pick-up, flat bed or camper? AH, remember only twin cylinder air cooled motor, so nothing too heavy!
-
Thanks James. Yes HLJ warned me that Fujimi only send out orders within Japan, so we'll wait and see.
-
Cheers Steve. I tied to get a new sheet of decals from Fujimi but they only distribute them inside Japan.

All done, won't build another, basic chassis and collapsing decals, plus my shaky painting of the front and rear bumpers! Scattered around the remains of the collapsing decals.

I lowered it at the front after fitting the body and finding the front higher than the back! Cut up various decals I could use and scattered them about. So now all done.
All other pics in the 'Completed' section.

Yeah, between these and GM’s new EV SUVs, I’m not sure if the roads over there are big enough. They’re all massive.
Our EV charging network isn't extensive enough for everyone to have an EV anyway. Parts of London have a massive number of charger stations or on-street charging. More than the rest of the UK put together. The cars are far too expensive and too heavy for our tarmac road surfaces.

Yes that's why I went for it! The other thing with it, it doesn't sit as low as that ether!

Thanks Pierre Rivard.
David, I know nothing of any RC Cars. I had one of the first Tamiya Beetle Sand Scorchers about 35 years ago, but the batteries were so lacking in power for more than 15 minutes I got rid of it!
