Basically an out of box build, lowered a little at the front and plug wires added.  Paint is Duplicolour Red Metallic.   Another home run by Revell, the kit is well engineered and goes together beautifully :).

I love it!  Revell should use this one for the box art build. Is that some of the Testors one coat laquer red?

I'm not much of a street rod guy but I like this! VERY pretty paint job and color!

One question though.........since the top is a separate piece from what I've seen, how did you get everything together so seamlessly? I've seen another one done where you can see the gap where the top goes. They mentioned they couldn't get the interior in without the top on first.

Did you have to build up the interior, put the top on, mask off the insides, and then paint everything "inside-out"?

Super great job! B)

Very nice!  Thank you for posting this build, I've been anxious to see how this kit builds up box stock.  Even though this kit has been out for a while now, amazingly this is the first one I've seen built strictly box stock.

Very nice indeed! This kit really captures the early/mid-'60s feel pretty well. And of course you've done a nice job with it.

Nice clean build Paul.B) This body style is timeless and you did it full justice. I have this one in the pile too. I was thinking about using the '32 grill and shell, but seeing your build, i changed my mind. Looks GREAT!!

Thanks for the comments everyone, it really is a great kit.

Hi Bill. I first glued the top to the body after a little fine tuning with sandpaper, it's not perfect but looks good from a distance.  Primer and paint helped to fill the seams!  I then followed the instructions, fitting the door panels and dashboard.  As mentioned elsewhere, the windshield frame goes in from the outside, then the glass is attached on the inside. The seat went in through the roof after the body had been attached to the floorpan.
