bbowser Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 (edited) Finished this one last night. Fought me tooth and nail but I think I came out the winner. This is the gangbusters kit but I didn't use the bullet riddled windows or hide guns under the seat . I'm saving that stuff for future diorama use. Comments welcome, thanks for looking! donb Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 I love the classics and this was done beautifully. Super work Bruce!
Intmd8r Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Nice and clean I would say that you beat this one into submission
bobthehobbyguy Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Cool. Nicely done Its not often we see the old classics.
tgabreu Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Very nice- don't see enough classics! I like the color choices, and the painted wheels/blackwall tires. Chrome wheels and wide whites are, IMO, very over done. Tom
D. Battista Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Very Very nice...!! Good to see a stock build like this .... Great choices all the way around...!any engine pics ?
espo Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Beautiful build. All of the colors flow together perfectly. That has to be half again as big as a normal kit.
Hubert Rollins Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Not one I'd do, but man!!! Excellent work!! Looks flawless!!!!!
Lunajammer Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Whoa. Wasn't expecting that. That's the gangbusters kit eh? I'm not sure I've seen a built one. Sure looks fine. Well done.
peekay Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Those old classic kits aren't easy but very rewarding when done well - and you've done VERY well!
Dave42 Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Very nice work here. I like the panels lines and the understated colors. Looks great.
ZIL 111V Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Superb! looks (even better) great with black walls/ painted wheels. Always nice to see a classic.
CometMan Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Always nice to see a straight stock build of a true Classic. Well done Bruce!
Plastheniker Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 Excellent work on a less excellent kit! Great colour choice! IMO the pictures with the top raised look best.
