landman
Although this isn't a tip or a tutorial, I posted it here since I couldn't figure where else. Anyway, I will attempt to make something like this (image taken from a thread here) out of this, an extra thread spool rack my wife has. Started by cutting the spool rack in half and making side supports. Then I started cutting shelves and playing with what will go where. Laying out the spacing for the holes will be an interesting exercise at arithmetic. Helps keep Alzheimer's at bay.

tbill
For the small square bottles, I took that spool rack and put rubber bands across the ‘pegs’, works great.

landman
I ended up with this setup, sort of a hybrid.
Anglia105E
That is a nice tidy way to keep your paint jars organised Pat, and good use of a thread spool rack too. Good job! David
iamsuperdan
Couple of evenings, a few Beck's, and less than $20CDN in materials, and I now have a paint rack. Instead of a 30 jar rack though, it's a 29 jar rack, as the wood split on the top row as I was drilling the last hole. Glued it back together and decided not to try again. Pretty happy with the results. Haven't decided if I'll bother putting a finish on it.

Oldriginal86
I know this is an older thread but I have a Testors paint rack I am no longer using. Any interest? Local pick up works as I don’t want to deal with shipping. $50.00 or trade for Jeep or pickup kits. Make an offer. I may come to the MAMA show in Havre De Grace, Md.
