I'm having a lot of fun with these Moebius truck kits. Still alot of work to be done on both. The 70 is beefed up with the full upgrade from FIreball Modelworks. The Fireball upgrade to 3/4 ton is an excellent option for your super realistic looking '70 workhorse. The '66 is a big deal also, the divorced cab ( compared to the '61-'63 unibody) opens up a lot of build opportunities for this classic. I want to use the bed from one of my '66 flaresides on a '69, and then put some other sort of bed on it..maybe a stake bed, not sure if the stake bed from the '34 is too small or not (have a couple of those stashed away). Jim H. Posted June 10, 2019 Author Share Posted June 10, 2019 I threw another body in the mix for the highboy chassis. Still totally undecided as to how i'll finish that one. I do really like it as a red '69, despite the grille inaccuracies. Anyone think we'll ever see that corrected? I went with a yellow two-tone on the white '70 body.
