TarheelRick Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Simply amazing watching this one come together. Looks so much like the farm trucks that used to run around here.
mchook Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Wow, I love this build. If it had a white roof it would be a dead ringer for the truck my father had when I was a a kid. It had a ford script rack body that he removed & replaced it with a wrecker body. The best tow truck he ever had, it would pull anything he hooked up to it. Thanks for the memories!
slusher Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Really nice work so far! Really enjoying it!!
bill lanfear Posted March 16, 2020 Author Posted March 16, 2020 Hello everybody! It has been quite a while since I last worked on this build! I apologize to those that were following this but Rookie Resin keeps me pretty busy these days. I decided I needed to get back to the bench and get something accomplished on this old beater. Getting close to the finish line. Just have to do some finishing touches, add the mirrors, door handles, front bumper, and some other do-dads. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to comment. Bill
Nazz Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Great flat deck Bill. The weathering looks amazing. Awesome build.

leafsprings Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 Wow! Super realistic build. It's very inspiring to see the potential and expandability of these great Mobius kits thanks to your additional never done before parts offerings.
89AKurt Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Really nice workmanship on this build. I like the lights on the bed, did you make those too? You asked if anyone knows about these trucks, I would suggest finding a real Ford truck forum, I'm on the '67-'72 Chevy truck forum, all the information can be gleaned if you ask.

Yes I have spent a lot of time on the Ford forums doing research on these and other builds. The folks on this forum are an excellent source for info and have been very helpful as well. I did make those marker lights and I sell them on my website if you are interested. Thanks again!
