carsntrucks4you Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 (edited) After a week of thinking I'm back with a new car, that wasn't part of the quiz since it was started in 2010. Yes 21 year we are playing this quiz. As usual sent a PM with Year, Make and Type Edited January 24, 2021 by carsntrucks4you
peteski Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 (edited) No clue either! And the steering wheel seems to be located in the center of the car (neither left- or right-hand drive)! The wheels look like one of the custom wheel sets from Aoshima or Fujimi. EDIT: I think what I see as a steering wheel is just a headrest of the right front seat. Edited January 25, 2021 by peteski
carsntrucks4you Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 Let me give an early hint. Part of the manufacture name is a name t is used for a WW II tank or part of of the title of an "unofficial national anthem" (bush ballad).

DonW Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Well I got it with the help of the clue from Michael, not easy even then!
matthijsgrit Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 I had an "Aha-erlebnis" after I cheated... Saw the car from different angles and actually quite like it!

Same here, so I didn't send a reply. Very interesting car. Never new about this one, but would like to have one just to drive the local gear heads nuts trying to figure it out!

carsntrucks4you Posted January 31, 2021 Author Posted January 31, 2021 This time I was looking for a Brazilian car, Santa Matilde SM 4.1. It was produced by Cia. Industrial Santa Matilde from 1977 - 1997. A Chevrolet Opala was the donor car for this fiberglass bodied car. Beside the coupe there were also a convertible available. It was powered by either by a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder engine. The correct answer were sent in by Bucky Otherunicorn DonW Richard Bartrop Brizio congratulations
peteski Posted February 1, 2021 Posted February 1, 2021 Very interesting. Never heard of it. To me it has the body lines of a Japanese car from the '70s.
