1972coronet
I , for one, wasn't aware that Moebuis was planning to offer a Wrecker, let alone one based on the lightest-duty chassis Ford offered.
Rob Hall
I’d assume it would be an F250 or F350. A cad rendering of a Moebius F series wrecker is somewhere in a thread on the forums, from a couple years ago when their planned future variations were shown…the truck with snow plow came out recently, a 4x4 w/ modern off road accessories is coming, etc. o Edited January 22, 2023 by Rob Hall
1930fordpickup
It will have to be a 350 (1 ton) to be a wrecker. I do recall that as an option if sales went well.

Right, shown a while back, part of the planned F series kit program. This should be another first for the modeling industry, an F 350 with the proper 135" 1 ton wheelbase wrecker body. Photo shows 159" wheelbase, correct for typical F 350 flatbeds. Edited January 22, 2023 by leafsprings

Brian Austin
The ramp truck already has the one ton wheels, so other F350s wouldn't be out of the question. 🙂

stavanzer
Really Sharp build of the wrecker, Al. I remember seeing older ones like yours with the Cab one colour, and the bed in either primer grey or gloss black. That truck looks like something right out of my memories. Thanks for sharing it. leafsprings
Beautiful wrecker Greg! Excellent fab work. Wheelbase looks spot on, excellent choice for 1 ton tires and wheels.
