Okay...top 5 shows of all time, the programs I watch again and again. Like old friends.

5: Parks and Recreation. One of the all-time great ensembles.

4: Friends. It's not a rational thing, more about the time of my life when it came out. 

3: Venture Bros. The best animated series ever. One of the best-written shows of all time.

2: Star Trek:Deep Space 9. I love TNG and TOS, but DS9 is peak Trek for me. Well-acted, well-written, with great characters and story arcs. 

1: The Wire. It's criminal that more people haven't seen this show. The cast is phenomenal. The writing is tight and gripping, and savagely funny. Every character is So. Dang. Good. For me, it's the perfect show.

Honorable mentions go to: Frasier, Game of Thrones, Justified, Deadwood, every Trek series other than Discovery, Seinfeld, The Office (US), Top Gear, Still Game, and many others that have cheered me when I'm down or entertained me when I'm bored.

Lately, I really like On Patrol Live. Real police on patrol.

I used to love that Rescue me show with Dennis Leary about the 911 firemen.

Justified is also back with a new season.

 Also, a lot of those food shows. But they make me really hungry. ??

My family and I were in the audience on July 4, 1966 (and the wait for tickets was only a year!). Got to shake hands with Oliver O. Oliver (Ray Rayner) on the way out during the Grand March!

1: The Expanse (Best special effects I have seen)

2: Firefly (Great story and characters)

3: Stargate Atlantis (EVERYTHING can be fixed by poking at a tablet)

4: Stargate Universe (You never knew what they were going to dream up next)

5: Eureka (Fun, campy entertainment)

I was prey was a series about people surviving attacks from wild animals.
