' 53 Studebaker Commander

This has to be one of AMT's best efforts from the ' 70's. I built countless renditions of this kit as a youngster. But it wasn't until thirty years later when I decided to do one as stock as possible, that I realized how close they came to getting this one almost perfect. Except for the tires and side mirror from a Revell ' 57 Bel Air, it's box stock.

Great work! These are one of my favourite '50s designs (so sleek for '53), and this one looks fantastic!

Refreshing to see this kit built factory stock. Interesting color sheme and quite attractive. Miss the trash can though, LOL! Fury3
