Matt Bacon
The EB110 is a car that looks much better in the flesh than photographs, generally, and looking at the model has the same effect. It's a much better-resolved design than it looks at first glance. Probably one of the hardest kits I've ever built. The level of detail is fantastic, especially around that complex engine bay, but sometimes it's more ambitious than the toolmakers could live up to. The body shell out of the box is pretty flimsy, with "working" front bonnet and engine cover, so I glued them in place to help straighten out the main body piece. ssroczyn
Great Job on a very difficult Kit! The finished results are just like I imagined it would be!! I really do like this car and the kit! And you have inspired me to take mine off the shelf, blow the dust off it and give it another try! Great Job and a Great Looking Car! Foxer
Was fantastic seeing this come together and the end result seems worth it all. I would like to see a few photos without the "Bugatti blue" lighting eheh It does work for a few of them. Great job!
bill_67
Turned out beautiful Matt, that paint is smooth.
Matt Bacon
Thanks, guys... Mike, I've had another run through the images and cleaned them up slightly differently. I think the blue tint is a lot less noticeable now! bestest, M.
krazyglu
That is a amazing looking kit you have built there. I like everything about it Matt, great job.

jaymcminn
Good job, Matt. You'd never know from the finished model what a bear this was to build.

Matt Bacon
Thanks, guys...and now, the blue beast is back, and this time it's brought a friend: ...a pair of early 90s supercar classics. Just the F50, Diablo and NSX to go now! bestest, M.
TFchronos
Some of my more favorite super cars here, very nice work on the Bugatti a Jaguar. The next builds should be fun, I got an F50 of my own to build someday too.
Belugawrx
Very Nice Matt! Glad to see those A pillars made it thru to completion!! Cheers
tmathew1us
Beautiful work on both, there is a definitive style theme with cars that marks them as early 90s. I feel like the Ferrari F50 has perhaps aged a little better (I didn't like it when it first came out, but it has grown on me, and I think it looks modern even today) Matt, I have the Bugatti model on the shelf, half done, and I have 2 questions 1. What color blue did you use? 2. Did you mask the windows yourself, or did it come with a precut mask? Thanks, Tom
Matt Bacon
Thanks for the kind words, guys. Tom -- the blue is Zero Paints "French Racing Blue", which is described as "similar to TS10". I used it rather than a can because I really like the Zero system with 2K clear. The windows I masked myself. There's only one tricky bit, the base of the windscreen, which I just cut freehand parallel to the edge. All the other areas are defined by the raised mouldings inside the clear part. The opening side window "frames" are just cut out of electrician's insulating tape, using a card template which I flipped over to get two identical side when I was happy with how it looked held up against the window. ...and here's a nicer picture, taken to test out a new photo set-up: bestest, M. Harry P.
Excellent work, Matt. The paint looks beautiful, as does the rest of the model. Outstanding. PS: Excellent photography too.
Scale-Master
I think that is the best build up I have ever seen of that kit, not just by a little bit. Great color choice too.

Matt Bacon
Thanks so much, guys... I'm beginning to get the hang of the new photo set-up properly now, so, without further ado: bestest, M.

hobbybobby
So, when I see the result here, I can not believe that it really is the Revell kit, because I know this kit... ... I started to build it, but never finished, because he is terrible, my opinion. My hats off to you, you did it, it looks absolutely great!
