Though nowhere near the size of your collection, I still have more than I can reasonably expect to build in my lifetime. I still continue to buy as I have a hard time passing up kits I have had in childhood as well as new releases. If I can get a kit I'm not interested in but can get at a good price I will use it for trading fodder. I have talked to my Brother and he said my Nephew will post them on E-Bay after I'm gone. I tried to get my Nephew interested in building but it seems todays kids are more interested in video games and computers than building something. I'm glad that the kits you got went to someone who will appreciate them. If you hadn't shown up they might have wound up by the curb.

Looks great as a sedan delivery. AMT should kit this one. Beautiful build.

The first kit I got as a kid probably fifty years ago. Built one recently and still a great kit to me. I build straight out of the box and have enjoyed everyone I've built. I'm sure the kit has shortcomings but it looks great on my shelf.

The eagle landed today so I went to HL to get the Ford Lightning but the Conroe store didn't have any. Saw them in Huntsville the other day so will pick one up next trip to Huntsville. What I did snag was the only Foose truck on the shelf. Not normally my style but after reading some reviews and seeing some of the great builds of this kit on the forum I decided to go ahead and get one. Also picked up a can of Testers Arctic Blue Metallic for a long stalled 64 Thunderbolt.
