  1. That is the 1971 issue, the original was in 1966, but it is identical to what you have. It was the 1995 re issue that came with the Cragar Trick Wheels
  2. You are not alone, I am not a fan of this car at all! A stock 67/68 KR, sure, but not this thing! And there is only one "Eleanor"
  3. Most of the models that you like from Jo Han probably do not exist anymore at all. Spaulding mostly has very early stuff and lots of incomplete stuff. Some may have survived, like the Cuda and some AMC stuff that Testors cranked out in the 90's, but no one really knows where those went, other than to China
  4. Well, good thing they don't make large, already painted and disassembled die cast ki....oh, never mind
  5. Would love to see these come back http://www.showrods.com/images/tbone_stake/tbone_stake_big http://www.s
  6. Thank you! These large scale kits build up really nice and there is quite a bit of resin out there for them as well. It would be cool to see what you do with a large scale car.
  7. Yeah, this kit may not be "Tamiya Like", but it was a fun kit to glue together when I was a kid, and I intend to do the same with another one again! I have sealed original and some extra wheels and tires from one, so an early box art car is planned!
  8. This is the Revell Injector Hat, even thought this is a 1/16th scale, the 1/25th is the same as Revell just scaled down all the large kits parts. They are a three piece affair, upper, lower and separate butterflies
  9. The Calnaga one is pretty close to a Revell hat.
  10. Honestly, I don't know, but I would guess something close to a Hugger Orange. With maybe a more red to it.
  11. Would be cool if they did the Orange version this time around After all, it was a more memorable car...
  12. The first version of the Revell Mickey Thompson Attempt 1 kit has that style chute in it! Just in case you want to go down that Rabbit Hole! LOL!
  13. Honestly, Anything! I have been too busy on projects outside my hobby room, and maybe it is time to change that! Let's build something!!
  14. Might want to check on a Military Model Board to see if anyone else is having this issue. Given the origin of the company, who knows what they are using for materials.
  15. Wow, this is a knockout kit! With a little effort, and not that much at that, this can be made to be period correct. Thanks to you Dave for taking the time to post it up, and thanks to Mobius for listening and caring enough to make the changes.
  16. The Fish Bowl car! Nice! I will definitely keeps tabs on this build!
  17. I wish they could bring back this version not my pic
  18. Quite a few of us get caught in the trap of "Great Deals" and end up buying stuff we will probably never build. Either it is not really something we like or it is too rare to build, but, "It Was A Great Deal!" seems to be the battle cry. And sadly, it will decorate the wall, or storage, until we either sell it, trade it, give it away or die. Yes, we all have the dreaded saying of "I plan on building everything I buy", but, if you are in the "100's" club, that simply just ain't happening. Unless you are a super fast builder, and that is a bit rare these days. and that takes us back to the "Die" part of the equation. I have already helped unload two collections, and it is a pain. So I will probably start to unload "The Great Deals" soon and make my pile a bit more manageable
  19. First issue of this version was 1985
  20. Well, the last time it was issued was in 2017, and it was done for the SSP program and as a Model King issue. But I can not remember if they had the correct wheels or not. So I would say it would be a real possibility that they would reissue it again, probably next year. And maybe even the Thames Panel Now, my biggest question for these kits, is why did Revell not keep this level of detain when they did the Henry J and Willys Pick Up kits?
