  1. The only thing that is keeping me from saying that they are the same is the exhaust. The trucks runs underneath the bike and the jeeps over the engine, and the front number plate is more modern on the jeeps bike.
  2. A few years ago, early 90's, there was a shop called Antique Automotive that dealt with Hot Rods, Muscle Cars and Specialty Cars. They also sold restoration parts, both new and used, and had a back lot full of project cars and parts. On one of my visits I found a very demolished fastback Mustang, and it was a 1966 Shelby GT 350 that had been pulled out of a ravine somewhere in New Mexico. The car was pretty stripped and the roof was mostly caved in, but, it had one very important part still on it, the Shelby Tags and chassis numbers. That, as the shop owner told me, was as good as gold to Shelby collectors, as they could legally replicate a Shelby car with the remains, and it would be legit on paper. So yes, there might be a Shelby recreation with legit numbers out there and no one is the wiser for it. And then again, this could just be the end of the line for a legit Shelby, if it is a real Shelby. Until we hear otherwise, that is pretty much it.
  3. I have a right to not like it all. Yes, I will buy it, but I can also not like the wrapper. So yes, very believable.... and yes, I will post my opinion.
  4. And yup, that is the FORD FE Engine! I doubt the HEMI is in the box.
  5. That's funny, I think the box art is getting worse and worse! And yes, the logo could be improved.
  6. Well, after seeing a few of his vids posted, I thought why not start a Video thread for his stuff. So here to kick it off, is the latest video! Have one you like, post it here instead of starting a new thread!
  7. This is the Red version of the car, which is basically the kit version, minus the wheel pants.
  8. Go for it! I dare you! Double Dog Dare You!
  9. Yes, I know, I am just saying it is reminiscent of the Skip Hess car
  10. Found a few decent shots of it! https://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z13357/chevrolet-corvair-monza-gt-concept.aspx
  11. Shades of the Skip Hess Revell Kit Mustang
  12. Oh man, this is just way too cool! I need to start selling off stuff to make some room for these! Thanks, Dave!
  13. Any fit or other issues with it? Looks great, btw!
  14. Nice Score!! I have the remains of one of these that I found a Car Parts Swap Meet, how fitting, that will yield enough parts to make a large scale Ramp Truck, but unfortunately the bike is gone.
  15. It was just a kit by itself made for the Chicago World's Fair, by AMT for FORD I have a built up in my collection that can easily be restored. https://fantastic-plastic.com/FordLevacarPage.htm
  16. Well, looks like Evergreen to the rescue! Thought I had really found something
  17. I don't know, that pillar looks pretty painted here...
  18. A friend of mine just cleaned up the body a bit and sprayed it with a nice Gloss Clear. Looked pretty good when all done, especially with the decals on.
  19. That is the 1971 issue, the original was in 1966, but it is identical to what you have. It was the 1995 re issue that came with the Cragar Trick Wheels
  20. You are not alone, I am not a fan of this car at all! A stock 67/68 KR, sure, but not this thing! And there is only one "Eleanor"
  21. Most of the models that you like from Jo Han probably do not exist anymore at all. Spaulding mostly has very early stuff and lots of incomplete stuff. Some may have survived, like the Cuda and some AMC stuff that Testors cranked out in the 90's, but no one really knows where those went, other than to China
