  1. I just finished "No Easy Days" by Mark Owen. I'm into modern day military books, especially spec ops, this book is really good. One of my favorite authors is Dick Couch, he has a series on SEAL training and a couple about SEALs in Iraq and afganastan. He also wrote another book detailing Army Special Forces training. I would definitely recommend any of these books, and no, there's no tactical secrets or classified material leaked in his book like the news channels have been talking about, it's just what happened from one of the SEALs that was there.
  2. The stuff I get isn't a high end name brand, but I can't justify spending that much for a model that sits on a shelf. I spend about $20-22 for a quart of clear and a pint of hardener, as you can imagine it lasts quite awhile. I don't mind the smell, but it's pretty toxic, from what I've read it does some nasty stuff to your lungs... If you have a carquest near you, check there, that's where I get my paint.
  3. I have a few more, but that's all I have pictures of right now
  4. If you've got an airbrush urethane clear is wonderful stuff, but you really need a respirator when you spray it, it's pretty strong stuff!
  5. That's a beautiful car, I wish SMS would do the detail set seperate from the carbon set, or do the detail set and the carbon templates for the interior parts instead of the whole car...
  6. That's pretty crazy, I was at both of those to, I hit hobby lobby in Avon to.
  7. What shops did you hit? The wife let me do some birthday shopping today, I hit a couple myself! I'll post pics of the haul later.

  10. I'm from Greencastle, right between Indy and terre haute.
  11. I don't use it, usually because when I need paint I forget to even look into this. Ive seen several peoples builds that have used it, I wonder how it would hold up to masking?
  12. You sir, are a GENIUS! If I hadn't picked up a bunch of cord tamer things at a hardware storethat was going out of business, I would be out in the garage right now!
  13. Beautiful! I love the flames!
  14. Hatchbacks are wonderful aren't they... Looking good, don't forget to add a rear window wiper.
  15. That's going to be a beauty in black paint!
  16. Picked this up after distracting the wife with seasonal decor at hobby lobby.
  17. I think it spends on the truck, we have trucks with front mount pumps, others are located in various places, I think it will basically come down to your truck and how it's configured. The hydraulic fluid tank on our trucks are frame mounted behind the cabs, on the drivers side.
  18. Ok, nope, I've never seen one. Well, it looks like truckabilly has a great start to a lowboy to. Regardless, it's beautiful work!
  19. I got an idea, but it involves rocket engines and balloons filled with acetylene...
  20. So is it not the same thing as a lowboy? I guess I've never seen one or didn't pay attention if I did.
