  1. Love it! Which kit is it? Need to find one! Just picked up an old AMT 283 Cobra and dug out my old almost-glue-bomb. Going to try a Dragonsnake build. Tim
  2. Where'd you get the tires from? Nice start! Tim
  3. How did you get all your parts affixed to the toothpicks? CA glue? Nice shine you got going! Tim
  4. That is shiny! Tim
  5. Love it and the added detail of the diorama! Tim
  6. Ok, well deserved! Loved how you turned the Fink upside down! Tim
  7. That does look so much nicer than the AMT version! Might have to pick this one up and try another vintage racer build w/this kit! Tim
  8. This is going to be a good one! Tim
  9. Thanks Roland and Dan. Here's a couple more shots of where she stands at the moment. I like the semi-gloss shine of it now, not sure if I want to make her glossy or not. Tim
  10. More work done on it since it's Workbench Saturday! Interior done: Chassis almost done: Tim

  16. New color. More Folk Art acrylic. Need to sand out this coat and maybe toss down 2-3 more, sand more and then clear. Should end up a little deeper purple. Tim
  17. I second Mike's suggestion. That's my first resource for inspiration for my builds, then the forums second of course! Tim
  18. Looks great with that top! Wasn't sure about it at first. But now, I like. :-D Tim
  19. Love it! Looks about done to me! ;-) Tim
  20. Nice engine work! Are you going to use any rear fenders? Tim
  21. Ok, white primer laid down again and first color coat on this time w/o problems. Pics later. Tim
  22. Had a problem w/the color coat. Knew I should have tossed that batch I mixed up w/it congealed on me. Apparently mixing Folk Art metallic in to some isopropyl and then adding Future doesn't work. Must add Future, then color, then alcohol. Luckily the paint washed right off. Time for more primer and more waiting. Tim
  23. Sanded out and primed. Should have color coat on it shortly. Tim
