  5. the bed > real wood strips with some styrene strips in between are more easy and look better then painting the kit floor maybe with a sheet of plastic (mine isnt even styrene) you can make a bed cover
  6. well this kit def. involves a lot of pre-fitting , btw the roof shell needs to stick out at the front insted of the back just tyake it slow and testfit a lot and make sure everything fits together .. i build one and would love to do a nother maybe some idea's of contrasts between the parts wil help ? to start with this is what the grille looks like out of the sprue take some black paint (enamel?) and paint everything inside black , dont worry about spilling onto the top chrome and after every brush wipe of the paint with a cloth (flat over the grille) after a while you get this > paint stays behind in the ford logo and grille area > makes it 2 times as realistic if you give the chassis a color paint the floors black for contrast and when your bed is assembled with the fenders and painted in the body color paint the underside and inside of the wells black , just easy going with enamel and a hand brush here you can see that the side plates will be black and the underside of the cab in blak will fit onto that and create one black underside under the cab , i also painted parts chrome , (handbrushed) you can do the indicators orange on the interiour you could go through with any colortheme , for the small vents you can use a pinty tooth pick or wooden sate stick , dip inpaint ans gently touch the parts to paint giving the roof a different color is also nice ... and i painted the whole engine compartment black and behind the grill section > black , just used a small hand brush and black enamel paint and patience when you clearcoated the body you could make a watery black wash to paint the panellines darker , same as on the grill paint the line and wife off excess paint the kit inclused a batterie , i suggest keep it white and paint the top black , you could ad a brace and some wires
  7. whow gorgeous

  13. yes cool james i think that will look great , and sadly nothing done on this .. been busy working on my custom chopper project and building stuff in the garden , wooden decking and redoing the outside of my shed with new wood and windows
  14. ooh yes ... sooo nice !!
  15. looks great .. maybe try a like weathered or not weathered logo on the body ... and i would do something with the wheels .. i would try to find some chrome rims to put in the white walls .. that will pop so much better on the patina body and then the grille in chrome , some nice chrome mirrors ....
