  1. but with wheels and a handle its perfect for a small movable compressor so i will add those
  2. thnx dave and yes still so much that i can build and add started on a compressor tonight , just took some stuff and start building , usually i have the garage beside me so i can keep eye on scale and dimensions this time i didnt .. when i had what i have now i put it in the garage and laughed hard , it was way smaller then i imagined or wanted .. but no worries it just about right to use as a small movable compressor , the white frame beneith is already removed so i wall add a handle and 2 wheels and make it into a movable compressor here is where i glued the ear protection in place on the wooden wondow frame thing ... there i could glue it tight .. to bad it doidnt work on the window , that looked way better
  3. yes me too bob but there are now hanging on the wooden pillar the glass is on (at the beginning) even superglue would not glue the thing to the glass edge .. i found out nothing wants to stick to that stuff , maybe on the surface but not on those edges ...
  4. thats what i ment choices . hihi finished the ear protection , painted them , also gave the workgloves a wash with oker oil paint , the tone is better now
  5. whell you have the skills blair .. just finish your car projects and strat a dio and only build on the dio .. you have planty of cars .. and your photo dio is also awsome .. its a case of leaving builds alone and focus on the dio alone .. and man i tell you for me building a dio is more fun then doing a car ... glued the shavings in place next to the drill and a tiny shaving on the drill table version 4 of the ear protection , it was hard , this one is made out of 5 pieces .. the band will be sanded flatter i like the look of it hanging on the glass most ... what do you guys think bench or glass ??
  6. some daylight pictures gave the workgloves a place on the bench , now i need to make some earprotection total vieuw , here the weathering on the lift shows better , the oil catch kart also got a wash styrene drill shavings , sprayed silver , those will sit at the drill press
  7. whow that came out perfect , clean , colors are great !! love it
  8. whow awsome !!
  9. hmmm primer stage looks great !
  10. just amazing work ... absolutly love this build !!! <3
  11. hmm nice build !!
  12. i started on those ear protection things but before i could find parts to make them suddenly the idea popped in my mind how to make the workgloves !! now i said i cant make them , to small , printing didnt work ... then i realised i have a box with yet to be build figures .. what if .. i can use 2 hands and ..... so i took these 2 sanded them flatter , drilled a hole in the back and kept drilling side to side and opened them so it looks like you can stick your hand inside (lol) ... then re-scribed the fingers a bit , heated them and messed them up slighty colorwise i only had like the light brown in real matte and gloves like that exist .. so i choose those ... paint is drying now , i will add a tad more detail so to be continued ... but i'm so happy i made them ... a nother cool detail !!!
  13. ear plugs must be doable .. thats a good idea thnx blair ! 2 small yellow plugs with a wire inbetween made a glass partician between the entrrance and workearea
  14. last time i was at the modelbuild store i looked for stuff to make the windows in the office ... i found a large sheet of clear stuff from bayern called vivak sheet .. now i didnt know when i bought it but it looks like lexan but this stuff wont splinter .. its so cool you can draw lines on it and just cut with a pair of scissors and nothing splinters .. its real flexible.. also cutting it with a knife works great .. now you can also bend it , it wont break it just bends without heating it up .. so i just cut out a flat shape of goggles and bend it , filed the legs a bit and done .. such cool stuff
  15. hey merc !! nice job like i said
  16. first try on safety glasses , man that was fidely !!!
  17. i like it !! looks great
  18. thnx blair !!! finished the grinder put it here on the bench , this was a spot that is front and center and its nice and visible and also there is the entrance so best spot to put it like its just been layed down there waighting to get picked up for use again
  19. just added a info plate on the gindstone machine and even found one small enough for the grinder , no name or brand to be added it wil sit like this on the bench woth the citting disk visible so a name brand on the otehr side would not be visible from a more normal distance , the rod on the end is brass just for handeling the grinder that will come out and will get a powercord same like the other machines
  20. gave the grinder a base color coat with blue ... then hand painted the safetycover / rear and tiny switch with metal coat enamel .. the handle got a coat of matt black to look like a rubber handle ...
  21. thnx guys !! and yes a welder will be made for sure ...
