  1. I voted with my wallet, and I'm happy. Scott
  2. I agree with Snake on this one (again). That's not a bad kit. It's a great kit. I wouldn't feel guilty by building any of Revell's '32 Fords. They are all great. Scott
  3. Plus they are littering. Scott
  4. Good link. It explains a lot. It also makes me wonder if the car pictured above is the one Healy and his son drove themselves to Califironia. Looking at the background in that photo, I'd guess it was taken somewhere in Southern California. Healy built some nice cars over the years. My favorite maybe the '52 and '53 Nash-Healy roadsters with the Pinin Farina designed body. The '53 Nash-Healy LeMans coupe was also very nice. Scott
  5. From what the box posted above says, it come with a model of a dog? What's "Droopy Dawg, the Bone Ranger" look like? Scott
  6. Can you tell us more? Interesting looking car. A Healey I've never heard of. I noticed the car in the photo is right hand drive. Yet with all the other cars surrounding it and the style of license plates. I'm assuming the photo was taken here in the United States? I've never heard of a Healey Westland before. Scott
  7. We need model kits of the above cars, that Ray is showing us. Especially the Morano LS. I love the looks of the four headlamp Moranos. Beautiful cars. Scott
  8. How about some pictures? Or a review? Scott
  9. I got my '71 Ranger XLT tonight. My first look opening the box looks pretty good. Scott
  10. I got mine tonight. And I have the same general impressions you have Roger. But, I do to make one correction on what you had to say about real cars. Ford stepped away from offering factory bumper guards on most of their cars from 1958 through the early 70's. And in 1973 bumper guards did not become standard on most cars. 5 mph impact bumpers became a requirement for the front of cars starting in 1973. '74 they were required in the rear. But, bumper guards for the most part were still options even with these new bigger bumpers. But, as far as the Revell Del Rio model goes, my initial look and thoughts are pretty much the same as yours. Scott
  11. At tonight's model car club meeting, I pickup up both Moebuis' '71 Ford Ranger XLT pickup and Revell's '57 Ford Del Rio Ranch Wagon. Got home, opened them up and took a quick look. My first impression of both kits? I'm fairly impressed, and look forward to building them both. I'm happy with what I'm seeing so far. Scott
  12. Yes I know Art. I have both AMT kits. I'm just suggesting that comparison photos of the real thing would be nice here. To get a clearer idea of why one would want a '27 roadster, when a '25 is available. I know we can search for photos ourselves. But, that's not the point. It would be more interesting to see why some people would like a '27 T roadster. What do they like about the '27 over the '25?. Show us. I wish I could post photos here. If I could, I would do so. Scott
  13. Very nice. I always like the looks of this car. Scott
  14. Who made the chairs? Did you? Or can they be purchased someplace? Scott
  15. Another great review Chris (hpiguy). I like your reviews. You seem to look at models the same way as I do. I'm not a ship builder at all. But, I've even watched some of your reviews on those, and enjoyed them. Keep giving us these great reviews. Thanks. Scott
  16. I'm still waiting to see one built stock. I want to see how that lower rear fender trim comes out, after it's been painted and foiled. Scott
  17. Yes, but the general look was still there. I don't know if a lot of people can tell the difference without photos to compare them to. Scott
  18. I have AMT's 1/43 scale 1948 Ford coupe. Easy to build. And its stock. Scott
  19. I know the rear deck is a big difference between a '25 and earlier, and a '26-'27 is roadster and coupe. The front end is also different. It would be nice if somebody could (sorry I can not) post pictures comparing the '25 and earlier Ts to the '26 and '27. So we can see the difference and maybe get more people fired up over this idea. Scott
  20. www.oldcarmanualproject.com is still one of the best. Can answer a lot of questions there. I just like to go there a browse through old car brochures and day dream. Scott
  21. Very nice. I have one sitting in my "to do" pile. Scott
  22. All three wagons look good. And the wide whites look fine on the car. Scott
  23. Very nice model. I really like the color. We had a B/W TV only when that show was on. Scott
